Noel has been shortlisted for the Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year, and has been invited to read his work at the awards ceremony being held at the Gulbenkian Theatre on the 2nd of October. His poem ‘Blind Horse’ will be included in an anthology published by the Festival.

Noel’s poem, The Birdman of Goldenhill is to be included in the newly established Staffordshire Poetry Collection. It will be presented in libraries around the county and there are plans to make recordings of all the selected poems.
